Earlier in February, we went live on Polygon with a lot of features and promises for our devoted champions of the BetSwirl community. Shortly after, we integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) v2 on BNB Smart Chain mainnet. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, we now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to help bring fairness to our gaming ecosystem.
Today, we’re glad to let you know that we are fulfilling another promise we made several weeks ago. BetSwirl has fully gone live on the BNB Smart Chain in fulfillment of our promise to be a fair multi-chain online DeFi gaming platform. Right now, you can access and participate in the BetSwirl programme of activities, games, bets and events through more than one means. But what does this entail? Why must you get on board right now? What are the implications of this innovative step BetSwirl just took?
Fast Scaling
One of the most obvious effects of deployment on the BNB Smart Chain is that our project will allow more people to participate. As you probably already know, the BNB Smart Chain is one of the most popular networks in all of blockchain and a ton of people hold the token. What BetSwirl aims to achieve in this deployment is to allow more people to play these games.
BNB Smart Chain liquidity
For security reasons, we’ve bootstrapped the BETS-BNB liquidity pair on PancakeSwap, for now with a small amount of liquidity, but we plan to add more once the games start generating revenue.
You could buy $BETS already on PancakeSwap or add liquidity, be sure that we’re working on getting bold incentives for those who provide liquidity.
Start Betting
Beyond deployment on the BNB Smart Chain, we have taken proactive steps to ensure that betting can quickly commence. In other words, 10 BNB (~$5,000) has been quickly put up so that the ball can get rolling. What this means is that you can very easily toggle between Polygon and BNB from the top right corner of your computer screen. As you can imagine, you’ll be able to bet with MATIC if you choose Polygon and will be able to place bets in BNB if you choose BNB Smart Chain. But then, irrespective of the network you choose to play these games with, you will always have the option of betting with $BETS.
More Good News
As we’ve previously communicated, BetSwirl likes to improve all aspects of the project concurrently even while trying out new solutions. For instance, we are one of the first protocols operating Chainlink VRF v2 which we believe will immensely improve our community. But that’s not all.
The $BETS token is now bridgeable. You can now bridge it from Polygon to BNB Smart Chain on Multichain.xyz. What this means is simple: the entirety of the betting process, from staking your bet to winning and withdrawing your wins can now be easily done swiftly using th web platform above. Oh. A little tip now. We’re going to announce a liquidity mining incentive in the coming weeks.
